Parties sign for quality of life in own environment
In the presence of deputies Patrick Brouns and Eelco Eikenaar, parties from the broad field of care, SMEs, education and civil society organizations have signed the covenant Personalized and Customized Health (PCH) Groningen *. With that they agreed to do their utmost to ensure that every Groninger lives and lives as long as possible in the vicinity of his or her choice. The control group does this as an ally of residents by working together on social and technological innovation, which gives people more control over their own health (and care).
The covenant is one of the results of the PCH control group set up at the end of 2017 by the province of Groningen. This control group is building a coalition that can contribute to a 'man-made Blue Zone' in our region: an area where the conditions are optimal for becoming a healthier parent. The focus was on the theme 'more care in your own environment' that should be facilitated by innovations from SMEs, a personal health environment (PGO), big data and healthcare professionals.
