Economic mission to Boston

Do you want to do business or gain knowledge in Boston, the capital of Massachusetts? Then join the heart of research and innovation on the east coast of the US from 17 to 19 July in the presence of Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the Minister for Medical Care and Sport; Bruno Bruins. Water representative Henk Ovink is also traveling. VNO-NCW Chairman, Hans de Boer, is business mission leader.

For who?

Participation in this mission is open to Dutch companies and knowledge institutions from the following sectors and themes:

  • Life Sciences & Health       
  • Robotics/Artificial Intelligence         
  • Climate Resilience


The program contains specific components tailored to the sector and a number of components for all participants, such as:

  • Joint kick-off and debriefing
  • Network events with selected counterparts
  • Visits to companies, government and knowledge institutions
  • Sector-specific seminar (s) and / or workshop (s)
  • Holland Trade Dinner

The presence of various ministers and other government representatives offers you a unique opportunity to establish and develop contacts at a high level.

Sign up before 3 May 2019. believes it is important that the companies and knowledge institutions that participate fall within the aforementioned set-up and substantive focus. Registration therefore does not automatically mean participation in the mission.

Participation costs € 950 per organization (maximum of 2 participants). With more than 2 participants per organization you pay € 475 per additional participant. Each participant must register separately. Travel and accommodation costs are for your own account. A travel agency has been asked to put together a travel arrangement. The program starts on July 17 in Boston and ends Friday evening July 19.
